1. Before inspection, verify whether the product name, color, and specifications on the customer order match the product being inspected.

2. For the leather being inspected, first understand the sofa's style and shape, and clearly identify the light-sensitive and non-light-sensitive areas.

3. In the light-sensitive areas of important sofa parts (e.g., seat surface, armrest surface, back surface), there should be no defects such as tendons, scars, branding marks, cracks, pinholes, or belly leather. Alternatively, Grade A leather must be used in these areas.

4. For areas with lower light sensitivity (e.g., inside the arms, underside of the back), leather with minor tendons or small scars (also known as Grade B leather) can be used.

5. In non-visible parts of spring-loaded legs, Grade C leather can be used. In non-visible parts of ordinary chairs, Grade C or D leather can be used.

6. The color of the leather used on the same sofa must be within an acceptable range of color difference.

7. All cuts must follow the template smoothly, with an error margin not exceeding 1mm. Straight cuts must be straight, curved cuts must be curved, and the quantity must match the template—no extra or missing pieces. Notches must be made as required, with no omissions, excess notches, or incorrect placements.

8. Leather pieces must be clean and free of marks from silver pens, chalk, or other stains.

Leather Inspection Standards

Leather is the part of the sofa that comes into contact with human skin, so safety is the most important aspect of leather inspection standards.

The following issues need attention during leather inspection:

1. Appearance

2. Thickness

3. Color fastness test of the leather

4. Yellowing resistance test of the leather

5. Delamination test of the leather surface

Leather inspection is generally conducted through sampling. If there are special requirements, a full inspection can be performed.

Wood Frame Inspection Standards

Although the sofa wood frame is not visible, it ensures the sturdiness, stability, and safety of the entire sofa. Therefore, it is necessary to inspect it according to the sofa wood frame inspection standards during the early stages of the sofa processing workflow.

I. Notes on Finished Wood Frames:

1. The wood frame must be symmetrical (no deformation allowed).

2. Connections between various parts must be tightly fitted.

3. The wood frame should not wobble when pushed by hand.

4. Staples must not penetrate wooden strips or plywood.

5. For wooden strips (40*40) used to nail springs, add triangles or small plywood at the ends (depending on the style).
