Huajian Company's Sock Inspection Standards
(1) At the beginning of inspection, first compare with the sealed sample to check if the pattern, color, elastic band, high heel, inner rib cuff, embroidery thread, and toe seam thread are consistent. Simultaneously, refer to the process sheet to spot-check the off-machine craftsmanship of the socks.
(2) During the inspection process:
a. Understand the quality standards for each order, check if the yarn color of the sock surface and lining are consistent for the same base color, and identify defects such as loose loops at the cuff, tight or loose elastic in the rib cuff, yarn flipping, missing stitches, sparse or dense patterns at the toe and heel, skipped stitches in the toe seam, misaligned angles, color unevenness, and color differences.
b. Inspect the internal quality of semi-finished products, such as: rib cuff height, rib cuff width, horizontal stretch of the rib cuff, horizontal and vertical stretch of the sock body, horizontal and vertical stretch of the toe, and the weight of semi-finished products, to ensure they meet process requirements.
c. When sampling socks, after comparing with the sealed sample, conduct a 30% random inspection. If the defect rate reaches 10%, the entire batch of socks must be fully inspected or otherwise handled.
d. When inspecting embroidery, compare with the sample sock for pattern size, check if the color and position of the embroidery thread are correct, ensure there are no holes or broken needles, no residual backing paper on the reverse side of the embroidery, and that thread ends are trimmed clean.
e. For socks with toes sewn by external processing households, inspect whether the toe seam is correct, if the thread color matches, if the bobbin and top threads are consistent, ensure the toe seam thread does not exceed 1.5cm, and check if the stitching is even.
(3) Upon completion of inspection, verify if the quantity of socks matches the quantity on the card, fill in the name and the quantity inspected, then sort the defective products, strictly distinguishing the types of defects during the process.
