Product Overview:
Sound-absorbing materials are materials with strong capabilities to absorb sound energy and reduce noise. They function by leveraging their own porosity, membrane effects, or resonance to absorb incident sound energy. They are one of the key components in ultrasonic testing equipment. Sound-absorbing materials must match the acoustic impedance of the surrounding sound-transmitting medium to allow sound energy to enter without reflection and ensure that the majority of incident sound energy is absorbed.
