Armored heating cables (also known as mineral insulated heating cables) are industrial heating devices composed of a metal sheath, inorganic insulation layer, and heating wire, featuring high-temperature resistance, explosion-proof capability, and high mechanical strength.
Structural Composition
Primarily consists of a continuous seamless metal sheath (stainless steel or copper), an inorganic insulation layer (magnesium oxide or aluminum oxide), and a heating wire, compacted into an integrated structure through molding. Some models are coated with a PE or low-smoke zero-halogen outer jacket to enhance corrosion resistance.
