Power Indicator (Displays Power)

I. Overview:

The power indicator is designed and manufactured to meet the anti-electric shock test requirements of standards such as IEC 60335 & GB 44706. It is used in IP protection tests to provide a 40~45V power supply for simulating fingers, simulating tools, and metal wires.

The power indicator uses a digital chip, featuring overcurrent, overload, and short-circuit protection functions, ensuring safety and reliability. It employs a digital meter head for intuitive real-time voltage display. The indicator light has been replaced with an audible alert, allowing you to focus on the test. The thickened aluminum box offers good heat dissipation, small size, and easy portability.

II. Usage Instructions:

l Turn on the power switch of the sample under test. Connect one end of the power indicator to the plug. Depending on the standard requirements, the ground wire connection must comply with the standard specifications.

l Connect the other end of the power indicator to the test tool. Different standards require the application of different thrusts. When purchasing tools, it is advisable to choose test tools with built-in thrust systems whenever possible.

l If an audible alert is heard during the test, it indicates that the sample has failed the current test.

III. Operation Method

1. The rear panel has red and black terminals. The red terminal is the voltage output end, and the black terminal is the voltage return end. During testing, connect the wire from the red terminal to the live parts or easily accessible parts inside the sample under test. Connect the wire from the black terminal to the tail wire of the test finger (or other probe).

2. During testing, press the test button on the front panel. Use the test finger (or other probe) to touch or approach the live parts or easily accessible parts of the sample under test. When the head of the test finger (or other probe) comes into contact with the live parts or easily accessible parts inside the sample under test, the "Fail" light on the front panel will illuminate, indicating contact with live parts and test failure.

III. Precautions:

Before testing, conduct a continuity test to prevent damage to the test wires, which could affect the judgment results.

The product is housed in an aluminum shell; avoid scratches and corrosion.
