Attractive Price and High Performance
The high price of general desktop lock-in amplifiers often hinders their use in cost-sensitive applications. For this reason, FEMTO has designed a complete, easy-to-use lock-in board that is highly attractive in price. All sensitivity, time constant, and phase settings can be manually controlled via front panel switches or remotely controlled via a digital interface from a personal computer. Additional signal filters can be configured via on-board jumpers to further enhance dynamic reserve in demanding applications.
1911 Board vs. PC Card
A PC card is exposed to the electromagnetic interference environment inside the computer chassis. Therefore, using a PC card for extreme sensitivity measurements in weak signal scenarios is impractical. FEMTO's LIA-BV(D)-150 series lock-in amplifiers are designed to operate with the EMI-designed 1911 board, which provides protection and noise suppression capabilities. Additionally, it is an ideal choice for multi-performance, multi-channel systems.
