Unlike desktop amplifiers, FEMTO's ultra-low noise current amplifiers provide gain close to the detector through preamplifier modules before cable capacitance and noise pickup significantly degrade the signal-to-noise ratio. After signal processing and measurement, the preamplifier has no impact on the signal and noise. To achieve extremely low noise by minimizing the associated bandwidth, a very high gain value should be selected.
