Water-resistant honeycomb activated carbon is made from high-quality coal, pressed using honeycomb molds, and activated through high-temperature firing. It can be used directly or placed in purification cabinets or adsorption beds. If the exhaust gas concentration is high and the emission volume is large, two purification cabinets or adsorption beds can be used alternately. During use, excessively high temperatures should be avoided, as they reduce adsorption capacity—adsorption decreases with increasing temperature. Additionally, high levels of dust and oil mist should be avoided, as tar and dust can clog the micropores of the activated carbon, increasing resistance and reducing adsorption efficiency. If the operating environment contains significant amounts of dense dust and tar, pre-stage dust removal filtration should be installed to achieve optimal performance and a longer service life.

Water-resistant honeycomb activated carbon is suitable for processes with high air humidity or where a water spray system is used upstream without a drying device.

Water-resistant honeycomb activated carbon can be widely used in various gas purification equipment and exhaust gas treatment projects. Practical experience has shown that its purification effect is superior to that of ordinary activated carbon. It can remove pollutants such as nitrogen oxides, CTC, chlorine, benzene, dimethyl formaldehyde, methanol, acetic acid, ethyl acetate, styrene, odorous gases, and other acidic or alkaline gases to varying degrees.
