Product Principle:

TC-4510 Anti-corrosion Coating Thickness Gauge Principle: Measures the change in magnetic attraction between the magnet (probe) and the base metal due to the presence of a coating; or measures the change in magnetic reluctance through the coating and the base metal magnetic circuit. It can non-destructively measure the thickness of non-magnetic coatings on magnetic metal substrates (such as zinc, aluminum, chromium, copper, rubber, paint, etc., on steel, iron, alloys, and hard magnetic steel).

Application Scope:

Used for measuring the thickness of electroplated layers, paint layers, fireproof layers, anti-corrosion layers, enamel layers, aluminum tiles, copper tiles, Babbitt alloy tiles, phosphating layers, and paper thickness. It can also be used for measuring the thickness of hull paint and attachments on underwater structures. Widely used in manufacturing, metal processing, chemical industry, commodity inspection, and other testing fields.
