The H42H model can be equipped with or without a spring depending on vertical or horizontal installation conditions.

The H42H series vertical check valve prevents medium backflow and serves as a check mechanism. It remains open when the inlet pressure exceeds the outlet pressure. Under the inlet medium pressure, the disc is pushed open, allowing the valve to open automatically. When the inlet pressure is lower than the outlet pressure, the spring pushes the disc against the seat to close the valve (Note: For horizontal installation, a spring is required; for vertical installation, no spring is needed.
