The Solar Sofa is a new 2024 design by the Italian brand Tacchini. It was reverse-engineered in collaboration with the client. During development, it was found that the original design had a slightly large backrest recline angle, making it more suitable for a relaxed lounging posture. Therefore, a minor adjustment was made by increasing the height by 5cm, bringing the backrest angle closer to that of a conventional sofa.
