Currently, there are two main types of semi-coke: traditional semi-coke and mechanized semi-coke. Although both types are produced from the same high-quality refined coal, differences in production processes and equipment result in varying costs and quality. High-quality semi-coke is primarily produced in Shenmu and Fugu, Shaanxi.
