Hangzhou Lecheng Gas Equipment's oxygen production and cylinder filling system utilizes an oxygen generator to produce high-purity oxygen on-site directly from compressed air. The pressurized oxygen can reach a filling pressure of 150 Bar, enabling continuous and uninterrupted oxygen production and filling. The entire system mainly consists of an air compressor, air post-treatment system, oxygen generator, oxygen booster, filling system, and oxygen cylinders.

Components of the Oxygen Generator for Bottle Filling

1. Compressed Air Purification Unit

The compressed air provided by the air compressor first enters the compressed air purification unit. The compressed air is initially passed through a pipeline filter to remove most of the oil, water, and dust, then further dehumidified by a refrigerated dryer, with oil and dust removed by a fine filter. It is then deeply purified by an ultra-fine filter that follows. Based on the system conditions, UEG Gas has specially designed a compressed air oil remover to prevent possible trace oil penetration, providing full protection for the molecular sieve. The rigorously designed air purification unit ensures the service life of the molecular sieve. The clean air processed by this unit can be used as instrument air.


2. Air Storage Tank

The function of the air storage tank is to reduce airflow pulsation and act as a buffer, thereby minimizing system pressure fluctuations. This allows compressed air to flow smoothly through the compressed air purification unit, ensuring thorough removal of oil and water impurities and reducing the load on the subsequent PSA oxygen-nitrogen separation unit. Additionally, during the switching of the adsorption towers, it provides a large amount of compressed air needed for the PSA oxygen-nitrogen separation unit to rapidly pressurize in a short time, enabling the pressure in the adsorption tower to quickly rise to the working pressure and ensuring reliable and stable operation of the equipment.

3. Oxygen-Nitrogen Separation Unit

The adsorption towers, filled with specialized molecular sieves, consist of two units: A and B. When clean compressed air enters the inlet end of Tower A and flows through the molecular sieve toward the outlet end, nitrogen (N2) is adsorbed, and the product oxygen flows out from the outlet end of the adsorption tower. After a period of time, the molecular sieve in Tower A becomes saturated with adsorption. At this point, Tower A automatically stops adsorbing, and the compressed air flows into Tower B for nitrogen adsorption and oxygen production, while the molecular sieve in Tower A undergoes regeneration. Regeneration of the molecular sieve is achieved by rapidly depressurizing the adsorption tower to atmospheric pressure to remove the adsorbed N2. The two towers alternately perform adsorption and regeneration, completing the oxygen-nitrogen separation and continuously outputting oxygen. The above process is controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC). When the oxygen purity at the outlet falls below the set value, the PLC program activates, automatically opening the vent valve to discharge unqualified oxygen, ensuring that unqualified oxygen does not flow to the usage point. The gas venting noise is kept below 75 dBA.


4. Oxygen Buffer Tank

The oxygen buffer tank is used to balance the pressure and purity of the oxygen separated from the nitrogen-oxygen separation system, ensuring a stable and continuous supply of oxygen. At the same time, after the adsorption towers switch operations, it returns part of its own gas to the adsorption tower, helping to pressurize the adsorption tower and also protecting the bed layer. It plays a crucial auxiliary role in the equipment's operation process.

5. Oxygen Filling System

The oxygen filling system includes an oxygen balloon, oxygen booster, and oxygen filling manifold, enabling the filling of finished oxygen into steel cylinders.
