The principle of polar fleece involves using polyester friction to raise the nap. Due to static electricity, the fibers bend and entangle, forming small balls. Since polyester fibers have high strength and are not easily broken, these small balls remain on the fabric surface without falling off. The accumulation of many such balls forms the unique style of polar fleece. Due to the entanglement of numerous fibers, a large amount of air is trapped in the middle, reducing convection with the external air, making it an ideal thermal fabric.

Advantages: The front side of the fabric is brushed, with fluffy, dense, and durable pile that resists shedding and pilling. The reverse side has sparse and even brushing with short pile, clear texture, and excellent fluffiness and elasticity. It provides excellent warmth retention. Polar fleece can also be combined with other fabrics through composite processing to enhance its cold-resistant properties.

Disadvantages: The technology is not yet fully mature, the price is relatively high, product quality varies, and it may be more likely to trigger conditions such as asthma.
