It is comfortable to wear in summer without sticking to the skin, as oil silk fabric is generally thicker and stiffer compared to other silk types. However, due to the short fiber length of silk scraps and sometimes the presence of other impurities, oil silk typically results in a coarse or linen-like texture. The fabric surface is rough and lacks luster.
