PPR fittings, also known as type three polypropylene fittings, are produced by extruding random copolymer polypropylene into pipes and injection molding them into fittings. They are a new type of plastic piping product developed and applied in Europe in the early 1990s. PPR, developed in the late 1980s, utilizes a gas-phase copolymerization process to randomly and uniformly polymerize approximately 5% PE within the molecular chain of PP (random copolymerization), resulting in a new generation of piping material. It offers excellent impact resistance and long-term creep performance.
