Power Plant Specific Corrosion and Scale Inhibitor
I. Product Performance

The power plant specific corrosion and scale inhibitor is mainly composed of new organic phosphine, polycarboxylic acid, sulfonate copolymer, azoles, etc. It prevents the growth of small calcium carbonate crystals and, through lattice distortion and dispersion, ensures that carbonates in the circulating water do not form hard scale on the condenser surface. At the same time, it facilitates the formation of a passivation film by organic phosphonates on the metal surface to achieve corrosion inhibition.

(1) It has a wide pH application range, generally providing excellent corrosion inhibition effects between 7.0-9.5, without the need for acid addition during operation.

(2)Its limiting carbonate alkalinity reaches 12.5 mmol/L.

(3)It provides good corrosion inhibition effects for stainless steel and copper alloys.

III. Usage and Application

This product is mainly used in the power system as a corrosion and scale inhibitor.

Add the daily required amount of corrosion and scale inhibitor into a plastic dosing barrel (or tank). For ease of use, it can be diluted with soft water and then continuously added at the inlet of the circulating pump (i.e., the outlet of the collection pool) using a dosing pump or by adjusting the valve. The dosing concentration is generally 5~20 mg/L (based on the make-up water volume).

IV. Packaging and Storage

This product is packaged in plastic barrels, 25 kg per barrel. Store in a cool place with a shelf life of ten months.

V. Safety Precautions

This product is acidic. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. In case of splashing, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
