I. Product Performance and Characteristics

HT-0200 is a specialized biocide for reverse osmosis membranes, providing rapid bactericidal effects at low dosages. This product has strong penetration capabilities against microbial cells and decomposes microbial cellular structures. It exhibits potent killing and inhibitory effects on bacteria, fungi, algae, and other microorganisms in reverse osmosis systems. Regular use effectively controls microbial contamination in RO systems, especially in surface water applications.

III. Usage Methods

This product can be applied in two ways:

1. Online dosing: Shock treatment with 400ppm every 10-15 days for 30 minutes gradually disrupts and removes biofilm scale from RO membrane surfaces, which is then discharged with the concentrate. This method serves as an effective supplement to continuous disinfection, particularly during high-temperature periods with vigorous microbial growth. Dosing into the raw water pump sump or via metering pump into the mechanical filter inlet pipe proves highly effective.

2. Offline dosing: Halt RO system operation and prepare bactericidal solution for chemical cleaning circulation. For severely contaminated systems, perform onsite chemical cleaning first, then follow these sterilization steps:

1) Fill cleaning tank with water and prepare 400-800ppm RO biocide solution;

2) Adjust cleaning solution pH below 7 (using citric acid or hydrochloric acid to prolong membrane life);

3) Circulate for 45 minutes.

IV. Packaging and Storage

HT-0200 membrane biocide is packaged in 25kg plastic drums or as customized. Store at room temperature away from light for one year.

V. Safety and Protection

HT-0200 biocide may irritate skin. Use protective equipment during handling to prevent contact with eyes or skin. Rinse immediately with water if contact occurs.

VI. Usage Precautions

Do not use this biocide if feedwater contains hydrogen sulfide, soluble iron ions, or manganese ions. RO biocide 0210 is corrosive; observe labor protection measures and avoid contact with skin and eyes.
