I. Product Characteristics
HEDP·Na4 is the sodium salt of HEDP and is an excellent inhibitor of calcium carbonate scale. It is mainly used for metal corrosion inhibition in low-pressure boiler water treatment, circulating water treatment, industrial and municipal cleaning water, and swimming pool disinfection.
HEDP·Na4 is a white powdery solid, easily soluble in water, non-hygroscopic, convenient for transportation, and suitable for use under severe cold conditions. HEDP·Na4 belongs to the category of organic phosphonate scale and corrosion inhibitors. It can form stable complexes with various metal ions such as iron, copper, and zinc, and can dissolve oxides on metal surfaces. It remains effective in corrosion and scale inhibition even at 250°C.

III. Product Applications
HEDP·Na4 is widely used for scale and corrosion inhibition in industrial circulating cooling water, low-pressure boilers, oilfield water injection, and oil pipelines in industries such as power, chemical, metallurgy, and fertilizer. In the light and textile industries, it can be used as a cleaning agent for metals and non-metals, a stabilizer for peroxides and a color fixative in the dyeing industry, a complexing agent for cyanide-free electroplating, and an additive in daily chemicals.
IV. Packaging and Storage
HEDP·Na4 liquid is packaged in plastic drums of 30kg or 250kg each, while the solid form is packaged in 25kg net weight bags per bag. Packaging can also be customized according to user requirements. Store in a cool, indoor place with a shelf life of ten months.
V. Safety Precautions
HEDP·Na4 is alkaline. Pay attention to labor protection during operation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
