Shoelace tip silicone is an environmentally friendly silicone material. The two-component system consists of Agent A and Agent B, forming a flowable liquid silicone that can cure at room temperature or with heating. Coating is used for purposes such as decoration, corrosion resistance, and insulation.

Shoelace tip silicone is widely used for coating processing and anti-slip applications on fabrics such as pure cotton, cotton blend, nylon, anti-slip cloth, and high-temperature resistant cloth.

Features of shoelace tip silicone:

1. It has excellent corrosion resistance, high tensile and tear strength, and low shrinkage rate.

2. Low shrinkage rate, with no release of low molecules during cross-linking, resulting in minimal volume change and a shrinkage rate of less than 0.1%.

3. Not limited by product thickness, capable of deep curing.

4. High temperature resistance, with a range of -60 to 350°C.

5. Strong adhesion, wear resistance, wash resistance, high transparency, and anti-slip properties.

Operation method for shoelace tip silicone:

For shoelace tip silicone, the AB ratio is 9:1. Then dilute with 407, with a dilution ratio of at least 1-2 times the diluent. Add the required color paste and mix thoroughly. Dip the rope into the silicone, allowing excess silicone to drip off. Scrape off the dripping silicone and wait 2-3 hours for natural curing. Repeat the dipping process, typically 3 times, to complete the product.

Note: When handling this product, use containers that have not been used with condensation-type silicone (industrial grade). Avoid contact with compounds containing N, P, S ions, or compounds with acetylene and vinyl groups, as they may poison the platinum catalyst and prevent curing. Specifically, Pb (lead) in PVC can poison the catalyst, and certain organic pigments may slow down or prevent curing.
