Water-cooled cable rubber hose (commonly known as water cable) is a special type of cable with a hollow water passage, used for high-current heating equipment. It typically consists of three parts: the electrode (cable head), conductor, and outer protective sleeve. Depending on the operating temperature, the materials used mainly include natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, polybutadiene rubber, and ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM) rubber.

Suitable for large-section flexible water-cooled cable outer rubber hoses used in steelmaking furnaces operating at temperatures ranging from -80°C to +480°C or intermittent ambient temperatures not exceeding 480°C. Features include high temperature resistance, resistance to electrical radiation heat, electrical breakdown resistance up to 30,000 volts, carbon-free outer sleeve, excellent insulation properties, good flexibility, and a small bending radius.

Commonly used specifications include DN42, 45, 50, 60, 80, 85, 95, 102, 108, and 150MM.

Water-cooled cable rubber hoses are primarily used in industries such as steel, smelting, ferroalloys, and large chemical plants for water-cooled cables, water-cooled compensators, and rubber hoses for water transportation.
