Background Description:During the solid waste disposal process,‌the gases in the solid waste treatment pit mainly originate from the decomposition process of solid waste,‌with complex compositions,‌including acidic gases,‌alkaline gases,‌and odorous gases, among others.‌These gases are produced during the solid waste treatment process due to the biochemical degradation by microorganisms,‌primarily including methane,‌carbon dioxide,‌ammonia,‌and hydrogen sulfide.‌Among these,‌methane and carbon dioxide are greenhouse gases,‌while ammonia and hydrogen sulfide are odorous gases,‌both of which have certain impacts on human health and the environment.‌

To treat these gases,‌the scrubbing deodorization process and activated carbon adsorption method are commonly used.‌The scrubbing method utilizes the neutralization reaction between pollutants in the exhaust gas and the configured alkaline absorption solution, as well as their solubility in water,‌while the activated carbon adsorption method effectively adsorbs organic exhaust gases that are insoluble in water,‌achieving the purpose of deodorization.‌The treated gases must meet relevant emission standards before being discharged.‌

Project Overview:Taking a project where our company serves as the EPC general contractor as an example, the first location is a hazardous waste temporary storage warehouse. The exhaust gas collection scope includes all areas inside the warehouse, requiring unified design of the collection system, air volume matching, treatment equipment, and other aspects for each area within the warehouse. The second location is the Phase I material pit, which requires modification and optimization of the existing treatment equipment. This project utilizes our company's industrial exhaust gas (odor) treatment and purification system to purify the exhaust gases from the Phase I material pit and the temporary storage warehouse. In accordance with national relevant governance standards, the exhaust gases from both locations are treated and discharged uniformly, ensuring that the owner meets environmental protection requirements during operation.

Exhaust Gas Purification Process:

Phase I Material Pit Exhaust Gas Treatment Process:The exhaust gas volume at the Phase I material pit is large (60000 m3/h), and according to feedback from the owner, the concentration of particulate matter in the exhaust gas is high. It is proposed to adopt a process of dry filtration+alkaline washing and spraying+activated carbon adsorption. 

Class A Warehouse Exhaust Gas Treatment Process:The main function of the Class A warehouse is material storage, and the concentration of particulate matter is relatively low. Therefore, the process of alkaline washing and spraying+activated carbon adsorption is adopted.
