Zinc Bacitracin Premix is a light brown or yellowish-brown powder with a characteristic odor. Zinc Bacitracin is a polypeptide antibiotic that has a bactericidal effect on Gram-positive bacteria. Its mechanism primarily involves inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis and binding to the cell membrane of sensitive bacteria, damaging membrane integrity and causing leakage of intracellular essential substances. It effectively inhibits Gram-positive bacteria and some Gram-negative bacteria; bacteria develop resistance to Zinc Bacitracin slowly, and there is no cross-resistance with other antibiotics. It promotes the growth of livestock and poultry and improves feed conversion efficiency. Zinc Bacitracin is almost not absorbed orally, with most excreted in feces within 2 days. It has synergistic antibacterial effects with penicillin, streptomycin, neomycin, chlortetracycline, colistin, etc. This product is incompatible with olaquindox, kitasamycin, virginiamycin, and enramycin. It is used for infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria and penicillin-resistant staphylococci.
