However, as long as wild resources remain relatively abundant, the pace of cultivation development will not be too rapid. In previous years, a small amount of cultivated Polygonatum has already entered the market as new stock, but the quantity is too limited to obtain specific statistics. This year, the scope of cultivation is considerable, but unfortunately, Polygonatum has a long growth cycle. Before this batch of cultivated supplies becomes widely available on the market, there will still be a need for wild resources to meet market demand, as supply falls short of demand. The author believes that, under the current supply-demand矛盾 (contradiction), Polygonatum still has considerable potential for future market growth.
