Suspension treated, water-washed overflow white fused alumina micropowder is produced from low-sodium aluminum oxide powder. It undergoes electric melting for crystallization, is initially ground into powder by milling machines, then acid-washed to remove impurities, and finally classified via hydraulic overflow. The complex processing results in a concentrated particle size distribution with no large grains, making it suitable for precision grinding and polishing. Due to its high chemical stability, hardness, thermal stability, and wear resistance, it is also widely used in wear-resistant coatings, industrial ceramics, and other industries.

White fused aluminum oxide F280 applied to ANSI standard is made from high-quality alumina by melting above 2000°C in the electric arc furnace and cooling. It is white with the main crystal phase alpha-Al2O3.
