1. Product Use and Performance Characteristics
Type 036-3 and 036-4 coatings are newly developed conductive antistatic anticorrosive coatings for the interior walls of oil tanks, based on the original 036 (036-1, 036-2) oil-resistant anticorrosive coatings. The primer of this product is soy sauce red, and the topcoat is light gray, with a surface resistivity ≤109?, complying with the GB13348-92 Electrostatic Safety Regulations for Liquid Petroleum Products. Years of use have proven its stable and reliable performance, earning widespread praise and trust from users. It is suitable for anticorrosion in storage tanks for sewage, seawater, industrial water, gasoline, kerosene, diesel, jet fuel, gas, etc., as well as oil and gas pipelines and various chemical equipment. It can also be used for the protection of concrete facilities.

4. Usage Ratio and Packaging
The ratio of each component of this coating is an appropriate usage ratio selected through research and extensive testing. For convenience, the product is packaged in proportional sets when leaving the factory.

5. Application Method
1) Surface Treatment
The anticorrosive effect of the coating depends not only on the quality of the coating itself but also on the treatment of the substrate and the quality of application. Before painting, thoroughly remove residual coatings, rust, oil stains, scale, etc., from the substrate.
2) Specific Requirements
Use shot blasting or sandblasting for derusting, with quality reaching Sa2.5 grade (GB8923—88).
If manual derusting is used, quality should reach St3 grade (GB8923—88).
Before painting, remove surface oil stains, dust, and other impurities. The cleaned steel plate should be painted promptly to prevent re-rusting.
3) Paint Mixing
Stir the paint thoroughly before use. After stirring evenly, pour Component B into Component A, mix uniformly, and allow to mature for twenty minutes before use. If a small amount of paint is needed, Components A and B can be proportionally mixed.
4) Painting
Application can be done by brushing, rolling, or spraying. If dilution is needed, add a special thinner. During application, strive for uniform coating thickness, avoiding missed spots or sagging, and achieve the specified thickness. Under normal temperature conditions, a new coat can be applied every 4 hours.
6. Precautions
The coating contains organic solvents. The construction site must be well-ventilated, open flames are strictly prohibited, and explosion-proof lighting should be used.
Store the coating in a cool, ventilated, and dry place.
Take protective measures during operation, and avoid prolonged working hours.
