S97 Salt Spray and Corrosion Resistant Coating

1. Product Use and Performance Characteristics

S97 coating is a new type of external anti-corrosion coating for coastal steel structures and facilities. The primer of the coating uses epoxy resin as the main film-forming material and iron oxide red as the primary anti-rust pigment; the topcoat is a polyurethane acrylate coating. Performance tests have proven that S97 coating exhibits excellent physical and mechanical properties, water resistance, saltwater resistance, acid resistance, oil resistance, salt spray resistance, humidity and heat resistance, and aging resistance.

It is suitable for the anti-corrosion coating of various steel structures and facilities in high salt spray and high humidity-heat environments such as islands and coastal areas. Examples include floating docks, lifting equipment, hoisting machinery, transport vehicles, the upper sections of offshore oil drilling platforms, shipping containers, and various metal structural components. This coating can also be used for external anti-corrosion coating of various steel facilities in inland areas.

2. Coating Composition(The coating is divided into two types: primer and topcoat, each consisting of two components, A and B)
