Product Description
Hexacosanol is a long-chain saturated monohydric alcohol with the molecular formula CH3(CH2)24CH2OH and a molecular weight of 382.71. This substance is stable and not easily oxidized, resistant to light and heat, acid and alkali resistant, non-hygroscopic, and possesses good biodegradability and bioactivity. It is insoluble in water but easily soluble in organic solvents such as n-butanol, isopropanol, cyclohexane, acetone, and methanol.
Applications
① Used as a nutritional supplement, it has anti-fatigue effects, helps maintain cholesterol levels in the body, enhances immunity, and protects and nourishes nerves;
② Studies have shown that hexacosanol helps reduce cell loss in certain neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease or stroke;
