1. Certification Introduction

TSE - Turkish Standards Institution. TSE is the organization responsible for setting Turkish national standards and serves as the highest national authority for product quality supervision and control in Turkey.

2. Certification Scope

Household appliances: household gas cookers, elevator construction and installation safety, household water heaters, frying pans, deep fryers, electric heating cups, small pans, load resistors, fluorescent lamps, etc.

Construction supplies: wood preservatives, rubber, adhesives for load-bearing wooden frames, wooden instrument panels, radiators, fire-resistant clothing, high-breaking-capacity fuses, radiators and convection heaters, fiberboards, plastic piping systems, resilient flooring, construction glass, fire hoses, geometric measuring tools, durability of wooden products, thick refractory products, concrete, mortar and grout mixtures, protective clothing against chemicals and gases, paints and varnishes, adhesives, welding, tiles, etc.

Medical products: oxygen inhalation equipment, sound insulators, respirators, sterilizers and biological systems for sterilization processes, packaging material systems for sterilized instruments, blood pressure monitors, dental instruments, sterilized catheters, biological evaluation of medical devices, crutches, etc.

Mechanical supplies: flanges, copper and copper alloys, explosion-proof equipment for underground coal mines, handcarts, valves, gears, mechanical safety equipment, construction bearings, industrial process control valves, woodworking machinery, pressure and flow control devices, escalators and passenger conveyors, separators for light liquids such as petroleum and gasoline, smoke and heat control systems, conveyor belts, etc.

3. Certification Process

(1) The applicant fills out the TSE certification application form according to TSE requirements; (please contact Ouce to request the application form)

(2) TSE evaluates the application to determine whether to accept it;

(3) TSE assigns an inspection team; (executed by Ouce in Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Malaysia)

(4) TSE coordinates with the applicant to decide on the inspection date, process, trigger plan, and accommodation arrangements if necessary;

(5) The inspection team will examine the production site's equipment, production instruments, personnel, and quality system;

(6) If the inspection results are qualified, the inspector will sample from the finished products;

(7) Samples will be tested and evaluated in accredited laboratories according to relevant standards;

(8) The inspection team audits the factory's quality system;

(9) The inspection report from the inspection team and the test or evaluation report from the laboratory are reviewed by the certification department and submitted to the certification committee for a final decision;

(10) If the certification committee decides to authorize the use of the TSE mark, a licensing contract must be signed between the applicant company and TSE before the certificate is issued.
