Construction refers to production activities during the implementation phase of engineering projects, involving the building process of various structures, including earthwork, foundation engineering, main structure construction, roofing engineering, and decoration engineering (excluding interior decoration activities in residential buildings that have been completed and delivered for use).
The construction site boundary refers to the boundary of the construction site approved by the relevant competent authority or the actual boundary used during the construction process.
Construction site boundary noise refers to the environmental noise generated at the construction site during urban construction activities. The noise limits primarily pertain to restrictions at the boundary line of the construction site corresponding to sensitive areas, covering noise limits for stages such as earthwork, pile driving, structure, and decoration.
2. Monitoring Items
Construction noise includes daytime noise and nighttime noise. "Daytime" refers to the period from 6:00 to 22:00; "nighttime" refers to the period from 22:00 to 6:00 the next day.
If the people's government at or above the county level has other regulations regarding the division of daytime and nighttime for the purpose of environmental noise pollution control (such as considering time differences or variations in work and rest habits), such regulations shall be followed.

Note: Environmental noise at the construction site boundary must not exceed this standard during the construction process. lThe maximum sound level of nighttime noise exceeding the limit shall not be higher than 15dB(A). lWhen the noise-sensitive buildings are close to the site boundary and outdoor measurement conditions are not met, measurements may be taken indoors in noise-sensitive buildings, and the corresponding limit in the table shall be reduced by 10dB(A) as the evaluation basis. *Noise-sensitive buildings refer to structures such as hospitals, schools, government agencies, research institutions, and residential buildings that require a quiet environment. | |
