Used for containing needles of disposable items such as syringes, infusion sets; various blades, scalp needles, suture needles, ampoules, small glass pieces, and other sharp instruments; collecting entire blood-contaminated medical devices like syringes, blood transfusion sets, blood bags, and all other medical equipment that comes into contact with blood; other medically hazardous infectious items designated to be placed in the sharps container.

Round sharps containers are made of non-toxic, rigid plastic, featuring essential properties such as puncture resistance, leak-proofness, ease of incineration, and safe, convenient use; when filled to 3/4 of the container's capacity, the sharps container must be sealed, and items placed inside must not be removed.

Sharps containers are for single use and must be collected by medical waste disposal units within 48 hours and thoroughly and safely incinerated.

Sharps Container Usage Instructions:

1. Install the sharps container: Align the container body with the lid and press firmly to assemble into a complete unit.

2. Rotate the red dial on the top cover left or right to open or close the sharps container; counterclockwise rotation opens it, while clockwise rotation closes it.

3. Collecting syringe needles: Insert the needle into the teardrop-shaped hole, secure it at the interface between the syringe nipple and the needle, then gently press the syringe barrel downward and outward, causing the needle to automatically fall into the sharps container.

4. Collecting sharp parts of infusion sets: Hold the soft tube of the infusion set, insert the sharp part into the large opening on the top cover, and cut with scissors, allowing the sharp part to fall into the sharps container.

5. Sharp objects such as blades or glass, as well as blood-contaminated items like syringes and infusion sets used for blood withdrawal or transfusion, can be directly placed into the large top opening. 6. When the sharps container is filled to 70% of its capacity, it should be sealed: Rotate the red dial on the top cover clockwise until a "click" sound is heard, then press firmly at the raised edge of the red lid to securely lock the entire sharps container.
