The bolt torque amplifier effectively addresses the issue of insufficient torque from bolt drilling rigs, which often fails to meet the design requirements for pre-tensioning force in bolt support systems. Using this product can amplify the torque of the bolt drilling rig by 5 to 10 times. Compared to using the bolt drilling rig alone, the pre-tensioning force of the bolt can be increased by 5 to 10 times. The bolt torque amplifier significantly enhances the active support function of bolts for roof stabilization, reduces the amount of roof subsidence in excavation roadways, and improves the effectiveness and proactivity of bolt-mesh support systems.

Torque amplification factor: 5 to 10 times

The torque amplifier utilizes a circumferential or planetary gear combination at different stages to drive gear rotation and output force. Each stage of the gear provides a torque amplification factor of 5 to 10. Common amplification ratios include 1:5, 1:10, and so on. In a planetary gear system, torque is input and output through the central gear. Rotation is driven by the engagement of three or four planetary gears with the central gear. The circumferential gear within the amplifier housing engages with the internal planetary gears but rotates in the opposite direction relative to the planetary gears. The reaction arm prevents the housing, which is integrated with the circumferential gear, from rotating. This allows the planetary gears to rotate around the central gear, driving the drive square head to output torque. Without the reaction arm, torque output would not be possible.
