Characteristics and Applications: TBzTD is a safe secondary amine accelerator, primarily used to replace thiuram accelerators like TMTD due to the harmful presence of nitrosamines. According to published literature, N-Nitrosodibenzylamine is non-carcinogenic. TBzTD can be used as a fast-curing primary accelerator or co-accelerator in NR, SBR, and NBR applications. When used with ETU in modified
CR, it acts as an inhibitor. Compared to TMTD, TBzTD offers safer processing and a longer scorch time.
