Product Description: NIKO Niko steam pressure reducing valve is used in steam system pipelines to reduce the inlet pressure of the steam pipeline to a required outlet pressure through regulation. It relies on the energy of the steam medium itself to automatically maintain a stable outlet pressure. The main valve outlet pressure does not change due to variations in inlet pressure or changes in the main valve outlet flow rate. Before startup, when the pilot valve spring is in a free state, the main valve and pilot valve are closed. The pilot valve opens under spring force, allowing steam to enter the main diaphragm chamber via the pilot valve. Some steam flows out through the control orifice. When the steam inflow from the pilot valve exceeds the outflow from the control orifice, the control pressure in the main diaphragm chamber increases, opening the main valve. As steam flows through the main valve, the increase in downstream pressure is fed back via the sensing tube, acting on the pilot valve diaphragm to balance the spring pressure above the diaphragm, causing the pilot valve assembly to close and throttle, maintaining pressure in the main diaphragm and controlling the main valve opening to deliver an appropriate amount of steam. Adjusting the spring on the pilot valve diaphragm changes the downstream pressure. Additionally, all components of the 25 series regulating valve can be disassembled for inspection or maintenance without removing the main valve body from the pipeline. Proper selection, installation, and maintenance ensure long-term trouble-free operation.
NIKO Niko Steam Pressure Reducing Valve Structural Features: This pressure reducing valve is a pilot-operated diaphragm-type pressure reducing valve, which has been significantly improved based on ordinary pressure reducing valves. The diaphragm uses new materials and has a greatly increased working area, so subtle changes in upstream pressure or downstream load can be accurately and timely fed back to the main valve diaphragm to adjust the valve opening and ensure stable downstream pressure. Maximum inlet pressure: 16 bar, 25 bar. Outlet pressure (adjustable spring setting range): Yellow spring: 0.2 bar - 3 bar; Blue spring: 2.5 bar - 7 bar; Red spring: 6 bar - 12 bar. The pilot-operated diaphragm-type pressure reducing valve has a cast steel valve body, with the main valve core, pilot valve core, valve seat, and filter screen made of stainless steel. When the pressure regulation range exceeds 10:1, two pressure reducing valves should be arranged in series. No external power required, reducing safety costs.
