▍ Working Principle

The pulley tension sensor is a type of sensor used to measure the tension of an object. Its core working principle is based on Hooke's Law, which states that the tension an object experiences is proportional to the resulting bending stress. When a strip or rope passes over the pulley, changes in the pulley’s diameter and rotation angle cause strain variation in the sensor chip, thereby generating an electrical signal output. By measuring this electrical signal, the tension value acting on the object can be calculated.
