Multi-Station Welding Fume Purification and Treatment System

       The central welding fume purification system in welding workshops is also known as the multi-station welding fume purification system. It mainly consists of a filtration unit (dust collector), a high-volume suction fan, exhaust ducts, an electrical control system, system-related accessories, and operating components. It is primarily designed for workshop environments with numerous and compact welding stations, multiple simultaneous processing steps, and complex working conditions. The model of the dust collector selected for the main filtration unit is determined based on the specific requirements of the multi-station welding fume purification system. These requirements include the diameter and length of the exhaust ducts, the number of specific operating stations, the exhaust air volume required for the area to be treated, the physical and chemical properties of the fume materials being processed, and various factors related to the main filter, ducts, electrical controls, and even the environment in which the entire dust collection system is located. Process description of the central welding fume purification system: Different collection devices are designed for welding stations based on varying working conditions. Fumes are captured at the source through these collection devices and enter the main exhaust duct. This process instantly collects smoke and dust, ensuring the health of workers. The fumes then pass through the main duct into the filtration unit (dust collector), where they are highly purified by the filter media. Under the negative pressure of the fan, smoke and dust adhere to the surface of the filter media. The pulse valve controls the automatic dust cleaning function of the filter media. Under the action of the pulse valve and control program, the system periodically performs reverse blowing to clean the filter media from the inside out. The downward flow design principle ensures that particles and fine dust during the reverse blowing process fall into the dust collection bucket for centralized collection. The collected particulate dust must be regularly transported and cleaned based on the usage cycle and the amount of fume generated.  For fixed manual welding stations and multi-station welding processes, centralized multi-station fume purification and treatment can be adopted. Depending on the different welding forms (point, line, surface, etc.) at fixed points, the front end can use suction arms, suction hoods, and enclosures for collection to achieve centralized treatment.
