Rainwater Grille

The rainwater grille debris remover is also known as the rotary rake plate type grille debris remover.
I. Product Introduction
    In current water treatment processes, large coarse grille equipment used to remove solid suspended matter mainly includes high-chain type grille debris removers and traditional wire rope traction type grille debris removers. These devices tend to stir up impurities during operation, resulting in incomplete removal, and fine debris easily escapes through the grille or becomes entangled, clogging the grille gaps. When encountering hard objects such as wood blocks, bamboo poles, or branches, the equipment is prone to jamming or damage, and wire rope traction type grille debris removers may also experience rope entanglement. As a result, the separation effect is poor, efficiency is low, and operation is unstable.
    Given the shortcomings of the above types of grille machines in use, the rotary rainwater grille effectively addresses these issues. This equipment is a device that can continuously and automatically remove solid suspended matter from liquids. Its frame structure draws on the advantages of rotary grilles and employs a unique working principle where the rake chain performs a rotary motion in front of and behind the grille bars. When the rake teeth move to the front surface of the grille bars, the rake chain is enclosed to prevent debris from entering, ensuring smoother equipment operation. During installation, the entire machine is hoisted, and only two 620*150*16 steel plates need to be pre-embedded on both sides of the sump, making civil engineering simple, cost-effective, and facilitating easy installation and maintenance.

II. Working Principle
    The rotary rainwater grille consists of a frame, a drive transmission system, transmission guide wheels, support wheels, and an enclosed rotary traction chain with rake teeth and grille bars. Driven by an electric motor reducer, the rotary traction chain moves upward in a rotary motion. When the rake tooth shaft on the traction chain moves upward to the front surface of the grille bars, the rake teeth insert into the gaps between the grille bars and perform a cleaning action from bottom to top. Meanwhile, another set of teeth forms an enclosure to trap solid debris, preventing it from escaping, ensuring high and thorough removal efficiency. When the rake teeth move to the upper part of the machine, the debris falls off by gravity into a container or onto a conveyor, which then carries it away. Additionally, the design considers: 1. The possibility of debris entering the traction chain and causing jamming, hence an enclosed traction chain is designed. 2. The underwater bearing components are made of stainless steel, paired with wear-resistant steel bearings, eliminating the need for daily maintenance of underwater parts.
III. Features and Usage Conditions
    1. The grille bars of the rotary rainwater grille are placed in the middle of the rake tooth traction chain (unlike other mechanical grilles where they are placed below the traction chain), changing the direction of motion of the rake teeth during the cleaning process (opposite to other grilles), preventing hard objects from being carried to the bottom and jamming the rake teeth and traction chain.
    2. This equipment uses a rotary traction chain, mainly composed of chain plates, chain pins, and rollers. During operation, the rollers move along the guide rails on the frame, eliminating the issue of rope entanglement common in wire rope traction type grille debris removers.
    3. This equipment can be adjusted according to user needs to set the operating interval, enabling periodic operation. It can also be automatically controlled based on the liquid level difference before and after the grille, and features manual control for convenient maintenance.
    4. To prevent damage from impact loads, an overload safety protection device is designed and installed on the sprocket disk at the output shaft end of the reducer.
