Purpose and Introduction:
    The rotary screen cleaner is a continuous automatic cleaning device more suitable for China's national conditions, developed jointly with Shanghai Urban Drainage Co., Ltd. and Municipal Engineering Design Research Institute. It is based on summarizing and analyzing the usage of domestic original water intake trash cleaning machinery and digesting advanced technologies from foreign cleaning equipment.
    The rotary screen cleaner is an ideal pretreatment equipment for water intake points in large and medium-sized water supply and drainage projects. It is widely used for the pretreatment of rainwater and sewage in urban and planned residential areas. It removes debris from the inlet water of water plants, sewage treatment plants, power plants, and steel plants, achieving the goal of reducing the treatment load of subsequent processes. It has been successfully applied in projects such as Shanghai river sewage and the Pudong Jinqiao drainage system.
Structure and Working Principle:
    The screen cleaner mainly consists of a frame, screen bars, cleaning rake plates, lifting chains, motor reduction drive device, buffer self-cleaning waste discharge device, and other components. During operation, the cleaning rake plates fixed on the lifting chains, driven by the drive device, scoop up the debris intercepted by the underwater screen section. The cleaning rake plates, synchronized by the lifting chains on both sides, rotate clockwise from behind the screen to the front. When the rake plates reach the upper part of the machine, due to the action of the turning track and guide wheels, some debris falls off by gravity, while the remaining debris adhering to the rake plates is scraped off by the buffer self-cleaning waste discharge device. The GSHG type screen cleaner is equipped with a shear-type safety pin in the drive device. In case of overload or accidents, the shear pin instantly cuts off to protect the equipment from damage. The underwater sprockets and chains have anti-clogging protection devices, ensuring reliable operation, buffer self-cleaning waste discharge, and thorough slag removal. The electrical control of the GSHG type screen cleaner can be set according to user requirements for start-stop frequency and single-cycle time, and it can also control the equipment operation based on the liquid level difference before and after the screen.

    Screen cylinder diameter: 600-1200mm, screen gap: 0.2-2.0mm, rotation speed: 2.5-13r/min, motor power: 0.75-1.5KW.
Structural Type:
    The equipment uses a stainless steel screen with an inverted trapezoidal cross-section, enhancing the screen's corrosion resistance, reducing clogging, and featuring self-backwashing functionality. It adopts an external water inlet form, and a liquid level gauge can be installed inside the tank to automatically control the pump's start and stop based on liquid level changes. It is commonly used for separating smaller solid suspended particles, fruit juice wastewater, leather wastewater, distiller's grains fibers, and other debris in the BIOLAK process for domestic sewage treatment, especially suitable for sticky screen scenarios. For debris with strong adhesion, such as hair, a rotating brush device can be added to the scraper.
