Main Applications

Foamed Footwear Materials

Footwear materials are the primary application field of EVA resin in China. In EVA resins used for footwear, the vinyl acetate content generally ranges from 15% to 22%. EVA 260 blended foamed products exhibit properties such as softness, excellent elasticity, and chemical resistance, making them widely used in mid-to-high-end sports shoes, hiking shoes, slippers, and sandals for soles and interior materials. Additionally, this material is also applied in soundproof panels, gym mats, and sealing materials.

Film Applications

Functional Greenhouse Film: EVA 260 can be used to produce functional greenhouse films, which offer high weather resistance, anti-fogging, and thermal insulation properties. In comparison, even with the addition of a certain amount of anti-fogging agents, polyethylene films can only maintain anti-fogging performance for about 2 months. In contrast, greenhouse films made with EVA 260 not only have high light transmittance but also maintain anti-fogging performance for over 4 months.

Other Films: It can also be used to produce packaging films, medical films, laminated films, cast films, and more.

Hot Melt Adhesives and Coating Products

Due to its vinyl acetate content of 20–28%, EVA 260 is primarily used in hot melt adhesives and coating products.

Toys and Other Injection Molding and Molding Products

EVA 260 is an injection-grade material with high toughness, making it suitable for producing plastic toys and other injection-molded or molded products. It is also used in the wire and cable industry.
