Ixef compounds typically contain 50-60% glass fiber reinforcement, providing strength and stiffness. What sets this material apart is that, even with high glass fiber content,

its smooth, resin-rich surface can achieve a high-gloss finish as if free of glass fibers, making it ideal for painting, metal plating, or creating naturally reflective housings.

High flowability for thin walls

Additionally, Ixef PARA is a highly fluid resin that easily fills thin walls as thin as 0.5 mm, even with glass fiber content up to 60%.

High strength and stiffness,

At ambient temperature, the tensile and flexural strength of Ixef compounds are comparable to many cast metals and alloys. At 23°C (73°F), Ixef 1032 (60% glass fiber) has typical values of 280 MPa and 400 MPa, respectively.
