The self-cleaning horizontal bar screen is a fully automatic solid waste interception device that effectively captures floating debris and solid particles in stormwater and sewage, featuring an automatic cleaning function. It is widely used in urban drainage engineering and can be installed in front of overflow weirs, storage tanks, and other locations.

The self-cleaning horizontal bar screen system consists of the screen body, hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic station, ultrasonic level control system, and can optionally be equipped with high-definition cameras for real-time monitoring of the screen's operation. The screen body comprises a frame, bars, guide channels, polymer guide blocks, rake teeth, connecting rods, cylinder brackets, hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic station, and control system. It can be configured with a separate control cabinet and hydraulic station or integrated with other system equipment for coordinated control.

Product Features:

1. The self-cleaning horizontal bar screen is used to intercept suspended and floating solids entering storage tanks from stormwater, preventing clogging of the screen. After the buffer pool water level drops, the intercepted suspended and floating materials can be carried by the flow into downstream pipelines or channels;

2. Installed horizontally, the screen is fixed to the frame and consists of uniquely shaped bars, resulting in relatively low head loss. During overflow events, wastewater flows horizontally through the screen, where floating debris and solid particles are intercepted. To prevent clogging, when sensors detect that the water level exceeds a certain height, the hydraulic cylinder activates, driving the rake teeth to move left and right to clear solid materials from the screen, leaving the cleared solids on the sewage side;

3. The hydraulic cylinder has a protection rating of at least IP68;

4. The guide blocks are made of polymer material with self-lubricating properties, avoiding metal-to-metal contact. With a low friction coefficient, the rake teeth move flexibly and reliably;

5. Except for the polymer guide blocks, all other components are made of stainless steel and undergo pickling and passivation treatment. They exhibit strong corrosion resistance and long service life in stormwater, domestic sewage, and most industrial wastewater;

6. To prevent jamming during operation and damage to the bars from forced cylinder movement, a pressure protection device is installed in the hydraulic circuit;

7. High automation, excellent separation efficiency, ensuring continuous and stable operation without supervision, with minimal maintenance required.
