Purpose of using FRP radome:

1. Protect the antenna system from wind, rain, snow, ice, sand, dust, and solar radiation, ensuring stable and reliable performance, while reducing wear, corrosion, and aging to extend service life.

2. Eliminate wind load and wind torque, reduce the driving power for rotating antennas, decrease the weight of mechanical structures, reduce inertia, and increase natural frequency.

3. Related equipment and personnel can work inside the radome, unaffected by external environmental conditions, improving equipment efficiency and enhancing working conditions for operators.

4. For high-speed aircraft, the radome can address issues caused by high temperatures, aerodynamic loads, and other stresses on the antenna.
