The ZSFW type temperature-controlled deluge valve, as a small-caliber deluge valve, is primarily used for fire separation in areas such as doorways and windows, and can also be employed for directional fire separation in equipment or specific zones.
This valve adopts a diaphragm structure, where the diaphragm divides the valve into a working chamber and a control chamber. While water flow acts on the working chamber, pressurized water entering the control chamber through the pilot hole acts on the diaphragm (simultaneously connected to the sprinkler). Due to the difference in the water-acting area on the upper and lower sides of the diaphragm, the sealing performance of the valve disc is ensured.
In the event of a fire, the heat-activated sprinkler operates, depressurizing the control chamber and opening the diaphragm. Water flow is then directed to the open water curtain sprinkler to prevent the spread of flames.
