1. Description of Dry Pendent Sprinklers

Dry sprinklers are designed with stainless steel internal components and are primarily used in dry or pre-action systems, as well as in situations where sprinklers or partial sprinkler connections are exposed to freezing environments, or where seasonal shutdown requires draining the fire sprinkler system piping network to prevent freezing. These sprinklers can also be used in wet sprinkler systems in areas prone to freezing.

2. Features of Dry Pendent Sprinklers

Dry sprinklers consist of a frame assembly, glass bulb, seals, internal and external decorative plates, external connecting pipe, and sealing seat ring. Under normal conditions, the dry sprinkler remains in a closed state, with the seal at the water inlet preventing water from entering the sprinkler piping. When a fire occurs, the heat-sensitive glass bulb reaches its activation temperature, causing the bulb to break and the base to detach. Simultaneously, the internal mechanism of the dry sprinkler is released, allowing water to flow and activating the sprinkler for fire suppression.
