Utilizing the principle of force decomposition, when the system is balanced:
T = 2F × cos(a/2)
Where: T is the thrust; F is the cable tension; a is the angle between the two sides of the cable.
Since a is fixed and identical, T is proportional to F. The force T acts on the force-sensitive sensor, which outputs a signal. After circuit processing, correction, and amplification, the value displayed on the screen is the tension of the tested cable.

IV. Force Measurement Operation Sequence:

1: Turn on the power by pressing "ON/OFF" to enter the previous cable number measurement state; you can directly measure steel cables with the same cable number.

2: Long press (MODEC) "Cable Number/Setting" to enter the cable number selection program. Select the cable number to be tested (1-7). Refer to the cable number comparison table, and press (ENTER/ZERO) "Clear/Confirm" to confirm. 3: Insert the steel cable into the wheel groove and press (ENTER/ZERO) "Clear/Confirm" to zero. 4: Long press (PEAK/VALUE) "Peak/Unit" to switch between KG and KN according to user needs (see the arrow indicator on the display).

5: Press (PEAK/VALUE) "Peak/Unit" to display the highest peak value of the measured cable (see the arrow indicator on the display).

6: Tighten the handwheel until the steel cable reaches the limit, and the steel cable tension will be displayed. After testing, turn off the power by pressing "ON/OFF". If no operation is performed, it will automatically shut down after 30 minutes. *Precautions:* Do not discard or mishandle; after use, place it in the instrument case. The battery is inside the instrument, which contains precision components. Non-professionals should not disassemble the internal structure. If the battery is low, charge it promptly. Charging time is approximately 3 hours. The charger is included in the instrument case. Store in an environment with relative humidity below 90% and temperature between -20°C and +60°C. Do not allow liquids, such as water, to enter the instrument.
