Our company has successfully trialed the self-designed and manufactured electric heat bending machine in the connecting plate workshop, effectively resolving the technical challenges of angle steel heat bending for connecting plates in tower production, thereby overcoming the difficulties in the heat bending process. For tower component heat bending operations, tower factories have long used self-made simple tooling molds, which present three major issues: first, high energy consumption and cost; second, poor process quality; third, high labor intensity and low efficiency. With the increased use of high-strength steel in 500KV towers, simple tooling can no longer meet production process requirements, creating an urgent need for new equipment. After more than a year of effort, our company developed the "YFL-120 type angle steel and steel plate bending electric heating bending machine." This machine can be used for single and double-sided heat bending of angle steel ranging from ∠50×50×4 to ∠200×200×24, capable of achieving single bends of 50 degrees and double bends of 45 degrees back-to-back. It can also heat bend plates with thicknesses of 2 to 25 mm and widths up to 1150 mm, with a bending angle of 150 degrees (capable of hot bending special shapes, plates, and angle steel components), and can perform flattening and heating operations on angle steel. The equipment also features a small footprint, multiple functions, high product quality, high production efficiency, convenient process operation, and high safety factors. After being put into use, it will enhance production efficiency and product quality, effectively reducing costs and increasing benefits.

Traditional coal furnace heating for tower angle steel connecting plate heat bending has several drawbacks: first, slow heating and low efficiency; second, it severely degrades the workshop environment; third, it causes oxidation layers, large heating areas, and high production costs; fourth, it requires more labor. Integrated angle steel heat bending machines can only handle angle steel heat bending and are not suitable for connecting plates or offset heating, in addition to having high investment costs (they consist of one press, two sets of induction equipment, and one control system). Due to technical limitations, the heating speed of the two induction sets in the integrated machine is slower than that of a single machine, leading to higher production costs. Standalone angle steel heat bending induction heating equipment is simple and user-friendly, earning widespread praise from users.
