This product is a liquid bactericide based on 2,2-dibromo-3-nitrilopropionamide, used in industrial water systems to control the growth of microorganisms, fungi, yeasts, and algae. It is a fast-acting non-oxidizing bactericide; the product is a clear amber liquid, completely miscible with water, and easily soluble in low-carbon alcohols. It has a faint characteristic odor at room temperature. Key features: rapid killing action, effective against resistant organisms, works at low dosage levels, compatible with chlorine, rapidly decomposes in the environment, and is particularly suitable for use within a pH range of 7 to 8.5. It has good compatibility with commonly used water treatment chemicals and is compatible with common reverse osmosis membranes. This product effectively inhibits and kills sulfate-reducing bacteria, saprophytic bacteria, and slime-forming bacteria. It can be used in reverse osmosis membrane systems to control microbial growth on membrane surfaces and prevent slime formation. The product is not persistent in the environment and is easily biodegradable when diluted to low concentrations.
