SKYBIO 3130 is a 30 wt% solution of 3-iodo-2-propynyl butylcarbamate in PEG400; the quality of this product meets the technical requirements listed in the table below:

 

 

　　This product is a liquid antimicrobial preservative based on carbamate iodine; it exhibits excellent antifungal activity with a broad spectrum of action; this antifungal agent is free from heavy metals, formaldehyde, phenols, amines, sulfur-containing compounds, as well as chelating agents like EDTA and isothiazolinones; SKYBIO 3130 is active against a wide range of fungal organisms; it has low toxicity, high purity, and stability under high temperatures and UV light; it is recommended for diverse applications; construction (coatings, antifouling, adhesives, caulking, etc.); if used in aqueous solutions with a pH range of 5-10, it must be formulated with a solubilizing agent in polar solvents, and such formulations are emulsifiable with aqueous solutions.

 

　　Typically used at 0.9% – 1.5% of the total formulation to prevent mold growth; in environments conducive to mold growth, increase to 3%; for interior wall coatings, usually add 0.3% – 0.9% of the total; to prevent mold and staining fungi in colored areas, 0.9% – 1.2% is recommended;

　　To prevent fungal growth in wet products and dry films, use levels of 0.06% – 0.75% of the total for adhesives and putties. The specific dosage must be determined through testing under application conditions; the exact amount should be confirmed based on efficacy, stability, and compatibility tests before use.

 

        This product is packaged in 20 kg plastic pails/drums. The packaging containers are labeled with the product name, specifications, net weight, batch number, and manufacturer name.

 

 　　Handle with care during transportation to avoid impact and prevent damage.

 　　Store in a tightly closed container in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated place; under normal storage conditions, the storage temperature should be >0°C; the shelf life is 12 months.
