I. Basic Description
Stair step evacuation indicators refer to a type of fire evacuation signage installed on the side vertical surfaces of subway exit staircases. According to national standards, two evacuation indicators are installed on the side vertical surface of each step. The average usage per station is around 400 units, while stations with more exits may require over 700 units. These signs use 304 stainless steel as the base material. The sheet metal is first cut to shape using laser cutting (customizable to various specifications and sizes), followed by surface pattern and text etching to create a recessed design, which is then filled with photoluminescent material. The luminous brightness is significantly higher than that of PVC or tempered glass materials, making it one of the brightest products among photoluminescent fire safety signs.



II. Scope of Application
Primarily used in light rail, subway, and other rail transit underground station exit stair passages, underground rail tunnel signage systems, shopping mall evacuation indicator systems, and factory fire escape systems. The use of luminous signs not only serves the指示 function of ordinary signs but also provides guidance and疏散 during emergencies due to their luminescent properties.

Excitation Wavelength Range: 200-450nm. The afterglow data is as follows:

5-minute brightness: 820 mcd/㎡; 20-minute brightness: 220 mcd/㎡; 60-minute brightness: 60 mcd/㎡; 90-minute brightness: 40 mcd/㎡.
