I. Basic Description
Stair tread evacuation indicators refer to a type of fire evacuation signage installed on the side立面 of subway exit staircases. According to national standards, two evacuation indicators are installed on the side立面 of each step. A typical station uses approximately 400 units, while stations with more exits may require over 700. These signs are made from 304 stainless steel as the base material. The process involves laser cutting to shape the panel (custom sizes available), followed by electro-etching to create sunken surface graphics and text, which are then filled with photoluminescent material. The luminous brightness is significantly higher than that of PVC or tempered glass materials, making it one of the brightest products among photoluminescent fire safety signs.

II. Scope of Application
Primarily used in light rail, subway, and other rail transit underground station exit stair passages, underground rail tunnel signage systems, shopping mall evacuation指示 systems, and factory fire escape systems. The use of luminous signs not only serves the指示 function of ordinary signs but also provides guidance and疏散作用 in emergencies due to their發(fā)光功能.

III. Luminous Data

Luminous Color: Light yellow or green (must be consistent throughout the entire line).

Peak Wavelength: 520nm.

Excitation Wavelength Range: 200-450nm. The afterglow data is as follows:

5-minute brightness: 820 mcd/㎡; 20-minute brightness: 220 mcd/㎡; 60-minute brightness: 60 mcd/㎡; 90-minute brightness: 40 mcd/㎡.

IV. Dimensions and Patterns


The product shown in the image measures 70*80*2mm, with the color being the本體 color of the夜光 material and green夜光 borders. Currently used in Changsha Metro. Custom sizes and patterns are supported.
